Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has launched a new daily disposable contact lens for individuals with astigmatism and presbyopia.
The Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day multifocal for astigmatism claims to offer stable and clear vision across all distances and lighting conditions.
According to studies, 95% of users experienced clear vision during daily activities, and 87% reported clear night driving vision after using the lens. In addition, 92% of users felt comfortable during the whole day.
In the coming summer, J&J will expand its portfolio with the launch of Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day for astigmatism in Canada and the US.
According to the company, the addition will complete the Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day Family, making it the first and only complete daily disposable family of contact lenses on the market.
Plans are in place to launch both products to more markets outside North America from 2025 onwards.
