
Highridge Medical has purchased the FlareHawk and Toro expandable interbody fusion systems, along with the LineSider pedicle screw system from Accelus, a provider of expandable spinal implant technology.
This move is intended to enhance Highridge Medical’s capabilities in the expandable interbody market by incorporating Accelus’s Adaptive Geometry implant designs into its existing product range.

The FlareHawk system is designed with a minimal insertion profile and features controlled in-situ, multiplanar expansion, aimed at restoring foraminal height and sagittal balance while minimising subsidence.
Accelus’ Toro system continues to advance multidirectional expandable cage technology and includes new instrumentation.
Additionally, the LineSider modular pedicle screw system offers procedural visibility, according to the company.
